Call for Entries -13th Annual Chelmsford Photography Contest

Submit your photo entry for Chelmsford's 13th Annual Photography Contest between Jan 26 and Jan 30, 2009.
All entries will be exhibited on Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 2 - 6 p.m. during Chelmsford's WinterFest at the Chelmsford Senior Center during the ChowderFest. 12th Annual Chelmsford Photo Contest

The 2008 photo contest was a great success. Held during Chelmsford Winterfest on February 2nd, entries were displayed in a gallery format in the upstairs auditorium of the Old Town Hall. Attendees were treated to Jazz performed by the Robert McHenry Trio and some fantastic images.











The Chelmsford Independed wrote a fine article on the event and includes pictures of all the winning entries: Chelmsford Independent article complete with images of the winning photographs.

Call For Entries: 12th Annual Chelmsford Photo Contest

Date: During Winterfest, January 2nd, 2008!
Where: Old Town Hall, at Chelmsford Center
Time: Exhibit hours are Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm

What you need to do to enter:
Download the Chelmsford Photo Contest Application
Between January 21st and January 25th, submit your photo at the Recreation Dept. (located at the Town Offices Building 50 Billerica Road, Chelmsford)

Contest Rules:
There are three categories:
Professional, Amateur, Student (through High School)

• Each person limited to three (3) entries
• Black & white or color photos accepted
• Each photograph (excluding the mat board frame), must have one dimension of at least 8 inches (ex: 6x9, 8X10, etc.)
• All prints should be framed with a paper mat frame or dry mounted onto a mat board. No wood or metal fames!
• Only photos taken after January 1, 2006 are eligible
• Photos will be judged on composition, general appeal and technical merit
• All entries must be received by Friday, January 26, 2008
• No late entries will be accepted, no exceptions
• Entrants must be residents of Chelmsford/North Chelmsford
• All entries will be displayed at the Community Center during Winterfest on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Photos may be picked up the week following the exhibit at the Recreation Department office.
• Winning photos may be published in the local newspaper and/or displayed at the library.
